An introduction to the Candidates' Healthcare Proposals Comparative AnalysisFiguring out the best healthcare proposal being offered by the Presidential candidates is quite a daunting task. I've been analyzing the details for almost two months and have come to the conclusion that the main issues relate to these two questions:
- Should all citizens have healthcare coverage (universal healthcare)? If so, what's the best way to do it?
- Should healthcare value be improved? If so, how?
Follow this link for an introduction to answering the first question. It presents the key points concerning universal healthcare, followed a commentary and brief overview of the candidates' proposals. This post examines various myths, discusses things every American should consider when evaluating the proposals, and presents a brief overview of the proposals regarding universal coverage.
In my next post, I will give the details of their proposals, along with comments.
