Remember the 2007  "Ransom notes" campaign, by the NYC child study center?  It looks like Autism Speaks didn't learn the lesson.  They commissioned director Alfonso Cuarón (who has a child with autism) to make an awareness and fundraising video.

Many people intensely dislike the video edited to add: I find it repulsive and offensive
