This is a quick step-by-step checklist for bloggers submitting to carnivals, intended to simplify the setup process.
One-Time Setup
These setup tasks need to be performed only once. Completing these configuration steps will allow you to streamline submission for all future carnivals and further promote your blog(s).
1) If you do not yet have a TMBN account
Register for a new account and choose your username and password. The only required fields are your first / last name as well as email address. We also recommend you to try our newsletters.
2) If you already have a TMBN account
Log in and go to your account page, click on "Edit" tab and verify/edit your information under "account settings". Follow to "my profile" and verify/edit your full name, as you want it to appear in the list of blogs.
3) Create your blog listings
Once logged in, proceed to set up your blog. Enter a name and description that would accurately represent your blog focus - this is your chance to promote your work! If interested you may opt into our aggregator to syndicate the feed on this site (details here).
If you have multiple blogs, you can repeat step #3 to configure them as well. Finally, verify how your blog(s) appear in the directory.
Carnival Submission
Once your account is established and blogs set up, you can quickly submit to carnivals through a simple form. All you need to do is select your blog and the carnival you are submitting to, and then enter the name, URL and introduction for your post. Finally, verify your submission.
If You Ever Get Lost
Go to "Blog Community" link in the main navigation menu. From there you can browse and create blog listings, carnivals and entries. To learn more about these new services read the announcement. To return to this page anytime click "Carnivals" in the top bar.
